Cure for Cancers Joins Forces with
USAP * Sports Alliance |

December 21, 2006 - CfC is joining forces with USA Partners * Sports Alliance to organize exciting new services and events. CfC and USAP are setting a $1 million fund raising goal over the next fiscal year. The funds will support Cure for Cancers' existing health programs plus upcoming public signings and awareness events with star athletes like Jordan Farmar of the Los Angeles Lakers, an inaugural annual awareness golf tournament, a "Fun Ride" with Kalyra/Bella Nova Women's Cycling Team, plus a scholarship through the American Cancer Society and a research grant through the ACS' Campaign for Research.
Both USAP and CfC are excited to begin this new partnership. Combining the resources of USAP and the programs of CfC will greatly benefit the current patients in the CfC network and will allow major strides in funding research to reach the ultimate goal - a cure. |
